Cassini now orbiting Saturn!
In the early 1990's as NASA was building the Cassini satellite for its
mission to Satrun a small company in Delware, Lanxide Eletronic Components
(LEC), was manufacturing Al/SiC packages that would house the memory modules
for the spacecraft. On June 30, 2004 The Cassini
satellite has reached its destination and has begun to orbit around
the ringed planet, taking some of the most impressive pictures yet seen
in our solar system! We the employees of Thermal Transfer Composites,
LLC take some pride in this accomplishment in that we are the direct descendant
of LEC and carry on the manufacture and development of advanced thermal
management materials.
